Legion is tough, and much of the program is designed for extreme athletes and military personnel. Legion wants to thank both these branches and is humbled by the recognition. The men and women of the Armed Forces deserve the best training possible, and that's what Legion is always going to give.

Courtney and husband Phil joined Legion on the 11th day the training center was opened and have hardly missed a training session in nearly 14 months, often training 5 to 6 days per week. Courtney, we'll miss you at Legion, and wish you the best of luck. See you on your first leave.

Legion Head Instructor Steve Mansfield is proud to announce that after being open nearly a year, the first trainees have reached Spartan Fitness Level 3. Mike Bennett (left) and Freddy Peralta both passed with flying colors. In order to get the Level 3 patch they were required to do 300 reps of super tough exercises, including dead hang pull-ups, twisting push-ups, deck squats, and many others in under 40 minutes. They passed with great style and showed superior, elite levels of fitness. Now, it's on to Level 4 and the Spartan 300 for these guys!

Legion Head Instructor Steve Mansfield had the honor and privledge of training local high school students at Lafayette High School in Lexington basic Self-Defense techiques for their course in physical education. It was a great time and and we certainly hope the students came away with some knowledge they can use. The unfortunate truth is many young people become victims. Let's do our best to train the best we can. If you would like Legion to train at your school, please contact us and we'll be glad to come out to your location.
